Product Description
A well used Fox Renard 220 Artist Model from 1979. The instrument was recently serviced at the Fox Products bassoon factory in Indiana. This instrument is perfect for intermediate as well as advanced players. Made of Black Maple and can be considered the little brother of the Fox’s Model II professional instrument, keeping the same long bore and wall thickness. The result is a warm, even-toned horn with easy response and intonation that rewards a developing player. Nickel-plated keywork runs throughout. Even though Nickel does not tarnish, it has shown signs of stripping which is only cosmetic, but it can be noticed in some of the keys. Standard equipment includes high D and E keys, a whisper key lock, and rollers on the little-finger keys of both hands plus the right thumb for Bb and F#. The instrument ships with Fox C2 and *CVX* 3 bocals and an older Fox case, along with a hand rest, seat strap, neck strap, and swab. Ideal for advanced high school and college students.
